SBUX Trade on Jul 29, 2020 09:44 from spyrosz: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Earnings:
* EPS beat, rev. beat but -38% Y/Y
* Comp. sales -41%!!! vs -42% consensus...LOL!!
* FY20 guidance: EPS $0.83-0.98 vs $0.81 consensus and comp. sales -12/-17%!!

And on such earnings, SBUX +5% premarket. Like, how crazy is that??
I didn't take the short yesterday post-market, when it rallied to 200SMA@daily=$79.6 and $80 major daily resistance level. Man, I should have taken it...

Anyway, premarket it was creeping lower towards S1=$78.5, establishing a very clean desc. resistance line. S2=$77.5 and then open road to S3=$76.5.
I thought it would fade most of the gap intraday with a close around S3=$76.5.
I wanted to get short risking S1=$78.5 and the premarket desc. trendline.

Opened at S2=$77.5, popped to S1 but rejected it to the penny and rolled over.
Missed that good entry, but when I saw it was holding below VWAP,

got short Tier 0, added when it seemed ready to sell-off, risking S1=$78.5, expecting the sell-off to S3.

Maybe got a bit too much size, so I decided to bail before stop, esp. since overall market started ripping higher...

However, original stop=$78.5 never got triggered, so I knew I had to get back in to see if I was indeed wrong. SBUX rejected S1 once again,

scaled back to the short slowly, getting some pretty nice entries, risking very tight stop $78.5 to the penny, expecting the roll-over back to LOD.

Got the move and I covered on the way to LOD. Had a bid to cover last piece at $76.7 which didn't get hit. Held it all day with a stop at $78, got out at the close.
