9:17 entry was FOMO and foolish. At that point, with how far its rallied, need to let it open and see what it does. Added some more on left side as it skipped thru $20s; ended up topping $22. Added right before halt down and thot "I got it." LOL. 9:49 big 1min solid red high volume candle that breaks $19, open print $18.43 which it bounced off 4 mins earlier, and $18. This was make or break candle. Telling it couldnt even get vwap in low $17s where I was bidding. Then 9:52 1min candle remounting open print was the "oh shit candle." That was the tell that 9:49 was a trap. Defense was warranted there but i froze, stuck, hoping it would roll. But once thru $20 it halted and i knew my fate was sealed. Idiotic not to stop all on break of $22, instead covering $23.5s throwing away another $12k. All that great defense I’ve been playing over last couple weeks in these high fliers was MIA today. Severely punished for a massive lapse in risk management.

Thanks y'all. Brutal one today. Took a big a big L in KODK premkt as well (didnt share bc cant see entries/exits on charts and so many executions bc the odd lots dont get merged like with my prev Prime. I can post the analysis of trade here if anyone interested). Had made some good strides in risk management since my CHK bomb. Been running real hot recently too but all it takes is one. Lost a good chunk of my month today. Today is all about process w/ emphasis on risk management. Sizing down, being more selective and patient. Ideally put up a small green day to not let yesterday snowball into a prolonged drawdown.

Chris, here is what I wrote for my premkt trade:
7am buyers/volume came in as expected and ripped almost 3 points right into afterhrs highs. Tried best to wait for $13.40s to break but dabbled some above and below $13. Then got a perfect stuff of $13.46 afterhrs high and put MAX SIZE on. That’s when I need to go into MAX RISK MANAGEMENT. That high should not break and if so I need to cover ALL and wait for a new high to develop.
8am volume comes and a CNBC interview is teased. Big consistent buy volume. High breaks - I cover only 8k/20k. BIG MISTAKE. Kept waiting for new high to stuff and get stuck riding up. Told myself “they” are just running/squeezing into interview. Added back full size into $15 as CEO on CNBC and got a little reversal. Again, that high should not be broken and if it does I need to COVER ALL. What did I do? Didn’t cover a share and capitulated $17s. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Good review Dp! We all have days where we don't exactly respect our rules. Just got to recognize, review and make the adjustments. I've seen you make wayyy more than you lost on this one trade lol. It's minor to a major like yourself! Tomorrow you'll take it to the Bank!
