Long 3 at 34.2, Stop 33.75
Widest stop I have used for a while. Would be a max loss for my trading plan
I don't normally take ORB trades or quick pullbacks and also don't trade in the first 30 minutes of the market, but I want to try learn ORBs and quick pullbacks as that is where a lot of money is to be made.
I traded this yesterday and thought about carrying overnight so an early entry is not beyond reason.
Daily 50ma at 33.8, 15min 20ma curling up at 33.73, 5 min 20ma nd 9ema at 34, vwap at 34.12
Doubted if this would work just after entry, but price has bounced off 20ma and 9ema for a second time and has started to run. No resistance on any intraday time frames, all mas are below. Daily 200 ma at 41.75, so plenty of room to go.
Exiting 100 at 34.5 just to take some money off the table as price is pushing 15 and 30min upper BB, and overbought.
Stop moved to 34.1, just under 5min 20ma, 9ema
A year-long trend line could be drawn to about 35.2 or 35.3 depending on which points you joined up so exiting another 100 at 34.95, just under whole number, if it reaches there.
Sold 100 at 34.95
Stop moved to 33.4 on remaining 100
Price popped to a high of 35.24, this maybe where others have drawn the downward TL.
Holding the last 100 for the ride
Decided to sell off 50 at 35.15 as price has stalled here after reaching high of 35.29
Stop moving to 34.95, just under 20ma
Raising stop to 35.1, under low of last dip where is immediately bounced off 20ma.
Raising stop again to 35.25 under 20ma and 9ema as they are starting to flatten out
Exiting last 50 at 35.26 as 20ma is turning down and above price
