PETS reported first-quarter net income was $7.8 million , or 39 cents per share, up from $5.3 million , or 26 cents , but missing FactSet consensus of two estimates for 40 cents. Price slammed from $39-33 on the 20th and I looked at 33.46 as an area of support. Hindsight shows me that's probably too big of a flush to look for a bounce in the near term. That was NOT a pull back.
Anyway, price sold off below 33.46 in the morning but found buyers to get price back to the level. I limit in at 33.46 and price continued to rally. Price open the next day slightly lower before slumping the rest of the day and stopping me out nearly 24 hours later. I don't really look at this as a bad trade beyond not acknowledging the size of the drop from the 20th. Maybe less size given all of the variables at play would've been better as well.
