Starbucks customers in China will be able to order drinks on multiple platforms run by BABA. This wasn't particularly great new but it was good news for BABA. I can see how the increase traffic could benefit their business. $257.69 was gap-level support. Price gapped up to 265.55 pre-market and continued to sell off towards 257. My limit was hit at 257.67. My theory was a hold at $257.67 keeps BABA on trend. Price gapped down the next day below my stop of 255.6 and I didn't get it. I moved my stop lower to 255 where I eventually got hit. Price continued to sell off but found support near 250.
In hindsight, I can see the wedge forming. At the time, it looked like a simple pull back.
