PINS is a company I've been interested in for some time. Morgan Stanley's upgrade to overweight from equal weight citing growth in the social e-commerce space. $36.8 was serving as resistance but looked like this was a opportunity to become support on good news. Price held 36.08 on the open and I got long. Price bounced and failed about 10 minutes later. I got stopped out at 35.4. I saw 35.4 serve as support. The way buyers got price back to 36.08 and back above VWAP, I felt this was the move I was waiting for. I put my worries of a round-trip aside and took another swing. Price filed again but not so far that I got stopped out. I took this as sellers finding a floor where they'd sell. Price continued to sell off. The next day, price dipped below my stop without taking me out. I'm noticing this being a trend with this platform. I wasn't sure if price was going to continue downward so I adjusted my stop. I got stopped out at 34.79, but at least it wasn't another round trip. The haircut was a lot more off the top than I would have liked.
