For TLSA here, I played it perfect. I didn't have any distractions and was at my desk ready to pounce. TLSA showed up on my pre-market scanner and I quickly went to work. Yahoo Finance stats for the float. Twitter for the news, TOS for the news, checked out the previous spike history and I was ready to go. I caught this one near the top and rode it down. It was higher priced (because spike), so I didn't have to go in so big. The spike history was not good with TLSA and they had an offering recently. Their patent news is getting exhausting as it never holds its gains and even does offerings and toxic financing into the spikes. 29 million float as well and it was a clear pre-market short for me. I banked $4.4k off this one for my largest gain ever and was done before the open. This was a good trade. If I could do this all over again, I would size up a bit more initially. I went 1000k starter followed by a 500 and then everything else was 100 lots. Next time maybe I do 2-3 1k lots to start and then 100 lots after. Comes with breaking down trades just like this blogging and getting that experience in to be ready for the next one!
