Yeah, it woulda been nice to hold some lotto shares, but the fact that you were up about 20% and closed the trade when the stock was up around 100% on the day, to me seems like a pretty good trade for someone still learning. Next time!
Two things I will watch for when trying to hold longer is...
1-does the chart keep making higher 5 minute lows?
2-if the chart does break the previous low, can it close under it?
they both have kept me in a lot of trades where my inner voice was screaming at me to close, #1 I have the patience for more often, #2 (for me) works better on the final 1/3 or 1/4th when I have already booked some profits.
