This month was looking pretty weak two trading weeks in. I was just spinning my wheels (same kind of thing happened in July). Then after a big day on August 11th, things really took off.

It was amazing to watch the PL go up the second half of the month because the small cap market was really lame. There was way less volume than usual and not many large gappers. No KODK or WIMI. LOL.

Learning to adapt the strategy to the slower market has been exceptionally helpful as well as building a lot of confidence.

hey dude thanks for taking time out of your day to comment on my trade, I appreciate your words of encouragement. I have only been trading for two months, so I'm still new in this, but i managed to put myself in a 300$ loss but now I'm only down $200. I noticed you are short bias and i would like to learn your strategies.

Thanks for commenting back. If you ever want to talk let me know. Starting out it is easier to trade short than long. I started out only long. I did ok the first couple months...I think I made about 1300 bucks...then things started to go south fast. My first series of big screw ups had me doubling down on a loser, position way too big and not sticking to my stop loss. Recipe for disaster. Not too long after I learned about small caps and how they are systematically manipulated for another hard loss. It was brutal for a while.

I finally figured out how to make money but I didnt have the discipline to follow through. Took another brutal loss, this one in a series of bad decisions all in one day for me to finally get the discipline I needed. It has definitely been a journey. I'm still making mistakes but working hard on minimizing them.
