-NVDA gaping higher in PM. Was looking for it to move higher. Still on news of ARM acquisition.
-Dropped at open as I expected it to do. Entered with 2 CALLS as it found a little support at 527. Little pop and I sold 1. As it came back to 527 I entered with another CALL (now have 2 CALLS again) it could not hold 527 and I exited both CALLS. NVDA approached 527 again and I entered as the bids started to hit over 527 but it failed and I exited.
The good - I exited my positions quickly when they went against me
The bad - I was impatient and after my first trade I should have waited for NVDA to find its range. I also was too biased.
Need to work on my patience. Looking back NVDA just looked weak. Under VWAP and under PM high and couldnt hold above 527 on the 5min chart.... My first trade was high risk high reward. I knew this going in but kept trying to force it. I need be quick when trading the open and 1min chart.
