AMD Trade on Sep 21, 2020 10:02 from tjmiller2001: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Two trades on AMD:

This ticker was definitely in play with big positive news premarket. Textbook VWAP bounce at the open but I was sitting on my hands, worrying about putting on risk and missed the giant play.

Entered later on a pullback to VWAP and it quickly broke below. I held with 76 in mind as a nearby key level to hold. VWAP was my original stop but I changed my plan mid-trade, lacking discipline. Pure luck got me out of this alive, with it pulling back up and I got out for break-even. Should've been punished for breaking my rules. First time in a long time I changed a stop loss mid-trade. I was mindful that I was already down big for the day because my swings were all down so I was revenge trading here. Mental weakness that I'm not proud of. This side of me hasn't come up in awhile but I'm scared that it still exists inside me.

Second trade I was going for the same thing, a VWAP bounce. Got a strong entry and when it quickly broke my level I got out fast and contained it to a $5 loss. Better discipline here.

Mentally frustrated after these first two trades, I sat on my hands and watched a descending triangle, that I had drawn by the way, break down for what would've been a $40 play. Obvious distaste for missing out on this, but it hurts more knowing I was watching and my mind was too frustrated about my earlier weak trades that I wasn't sharp enough to participate in this move.

Only lost $5 trading AMD today but from a process perspective, lots of weaknesses to address.
