NIO was gapping up premarket with high volume. This made it a stock in play.

Strong entry with 3:1 RR near VWAP trying to play a VWAP bounce. Was working out for me then it broke my level. Very proud of my execution getting out quickly. This logger was bigger than usual because the drop was very quick, I was more concerned with getting out fast during the heavy drop than getting a stellar fill.

Second entry was a dip buy, name was moving up with momentum from it's lows. I got in on a pullback looking for support at VWAP. This level broke and I did a good job exiting quick. Lacking the ability to read the tape to predict reversals or changes in trend. I feel like I'm gambling and just using smart RR levels sometimes. I need more information/signals to back my entries. This will be my focus in October. I was able to conquer my inability to take on risk in September, now this is the next hurdle to become a consistently profitable trader.

On my third entry, I bought puts because I noticed that NIO was making lower highs and lower lows. So my strategy was to short the tops and take profit at the bottom trendline. On this 2:1 RR trade, I happened to enter while a breakout to the upside was occurring, and I did a great job exiting in less than a minute.

Better exits today than usual. I lost on all 3 trades and still kept my losses small. My RR was decent, not amazing but alright. I need to focus on finding my high probability setups because I feel like I may be overtrading or throwing a dart at anything that appears to be a decent opportunity.

Lesson Learned: Find your high probability setup and size up on that one. Be more selective with the setups you take.
