Stock was broken p/m. There was resistance between $6.00 and $6.20, so I decided to short a potential pop into these lines at the open.
--> ok!
The stock broke $5.60 instead and I was ready to short a pop after it broke that line. Had broker issues, so my order did not get executed at $5.60. Sold for a small win.
--> ok!

Shorted again into resistance $5.40
--> That’s too early! The stock will most likely pop towards VWAP again.
Added to my position on the way up.
--> Widen your range and don’t use fantasy orders on that tight range. The stock needs room to breath. Where is your thesis no longer valid? Above 6 it was no longer valid because VWAP would have got reclaimed. So a good scale would have been: $5.70 and $6.00 risking $6.10

If you want to scale under VWAP: Where are the major res lines and is a push into VWAP likely? After 9:45 a.m. a push was likely. You chased under VWAP, well aware a push can happen!
If you want to short on pops under VWAP, wait until the stock proofed it failed to reclaim VWAP multiple times!
