AMD had been making lower highs all day and I was looking to short the rallies.

This name had rejected VWAP twice and I wanted to enter a put near VWAP in anticipation of a third rejection. This was a very bad fill. I set my order a few minutes before and the green line that TOS predicts a fill at was not aligned with where I was filled. My order went through way too early, messing up my RR and making this trade riskier for me (meaning the potential drawdown would be larger than I'm used to.)

AMD broke above VWAP and yesterdays high, two levels right under my stop. I thought those levels would have more strength but they were easily breached. I got out quick and took the $13 loss.

I should start trading Stocks in Play. I trade AMD often just because I like the contract prices and spreads and the way the name moves. However, choosing to trade names in play could help me drastically.

Lesson Learned: Monitor the contract prices even when you have orders set. This allows you to change them if neccessary instead of getting filled at a bad spot.
