Idea, Entry, and Risk:

*Idea: FF after morning emotion fade off
*Entry: Pops vs HOD, awaiting VWAP tests
*Risk: 1:3 vs Key support at 26.40s ( 0.1% vs 0.3% of Account, while maintaining small size )

Catalyst and News:

Double firm short and mention (Cramer and Bonitas Research)

Fundamentals:

n/a

Technicals:

Repeatedly down and failing. Riding the momentum down after the SPAC merge.

Summation:

Stayed on the 3min timeframe, as usual. Checked 1m and 5m periodically, 1D to look left.

Saw opening fails and waited for the usual chance to get back in on pops, when early/late shorts get overextended or covers start to happen. Entered at the first real test vs VWAP, and scaled higher on some heaviness, scored a 26.01 average.

Watched the breakdown and tried to get around the $25 support thinking it might break there, but the bounce just above it continued upwards. Was waiting for a chance to get but orders I set weren't filling on the slight pullbacks, either. Saw the momentum shift and set the limit for the 25.60s. Flubbed my exits. Working on those next. Otherwise I can't complain about entry, the size up, and the risk, given my goals for this trade.

Takeaways:

-Don't worry so much about trying to wait for bigger pullbacks to exit. Perhaps also consider using market just to exit, even if the spread is a bit wider than you'd like. Execution is the name of the game here.

-Focus on checking multiple timeframes as you have been. Obfuscating Account Balance and PnL definitely helped me focus more on the trade itself.
