Risk: $500 vs. 446.80
Setup: It had a bull flag on the hourly and it consolidated. I have to admit that the action on the flag seemed a bit weak. Maybe it was a signal not to take it. The market did look better this time.
Cons:
1. I was 10 minutes away from the hour. I should have been patiently waiting to see how it looked before ordering. I jumped the gun.
2. The setup was compromised at 13:40. This should have been a signal to risk less and be more cautious when playing. If it's not worth it, then I could have avoided the trade all together.
3. I might have been able to get out earlier.
Note: I should be more aware of the time and be skeptical of compromised setups. This trade could have been avoided. I don't think I'll make it if I continue to make these mistakes.
