This was a good trade. I'm just not used the ones in the 1-2.00 range where the movements are much smaller...always seems like the stops are too tight. SO I went with the full stop on this one. It was actually kind of a combo, where I went a little less than the full stop to give me an even 1500 shares.
After yesterdays' beating I wanted to take a win, so I got out early at 1.41. The original target was 1.31...so I gave up .10 on the trade for peace of mind. It wasn't a horrible decision, because if it turned on me mentally it would have taken a toll...but I'm counting it as a mistake. Stick to the plan.
I do this regularly. I have a bad day where a stock goes from where I'm profitable to a full stop out and then I start bailing early to lock in profits (and it is always the wrong choice...sure it might be better 1/10 times...but it is more profitable to stay in to the end).
