AMD was setting up for a short play, with a clear window between the low of 4 November and the high of 30 October. Things played out like this and I took a short after the first candle low was broken. I added at the breakdown of the subsequent consolidation, but missed the big flush.
I tried to play another LOD breakdown, which was extended and stopped me out. The third trade I shorted the LOD again but with a wider stop, which is what the stock needed. After the following breakdown I added and let it ride the 9 SMA after it made a decent profit.
Ironically it hit my projected low, which should have been an ideal exit.
Overall happy with this session and my third consecutive green day. I have added hotkeys for scaling out short positions quickly, because I did not like how I had to fully exit the first trade and had no opportunity to let the rest ride.
