*Idea: FF vs highs and continued fade afterwards
*Entry: Low 120s

Catalyst and News:

After yesterday's shitshow, with the announcement of the MCDonald's proprietary plant-based burger, the stock fluctuated from the 150s to the 110s to the 170s to the 100s.

Fundamentals:

Earnings down after all the extra stuff. Not a good look.

Technicals:

SSR on but several repeated fails early during the day. Yesterday's ride makes me extremely cautious but watching.

Summation:

Single share hit at 119 after the 10:20 am FF. Saw the fail at VWAP and expected it to go down further, but was very unsure, hence the tiny size. The refusal for the ticker to go back down any more after that was all the confirmation necessary to get out, but I held to my stop around the previous high (122.20) and got out with a paper cut. Not the worst borrow fees either. Could have gone better, could have gone way worse.

Takeaways:

-Had plenty of trade plans on other tickers (JKS), but opted for this after I failed at that. Frankly not much of a reason. Don't go trading something else just because you missed one train. That's what we call FOMO, no matter how you wanna spin it to yourself.

-My cousin put it (or reiterated it) best, trade what you see. There was little confirmation of further fails, especially after VWAP held. No real reason to stay when the incoming squeeze was honestly pretty easy to expect. Don't get lost in your own ideas.

-Always be cautious with SSR. Yes, JKS managed to plummet further even while under it. That doesn't apply to everything. Be wiser.
