In hindsight, totally misread setup.
Le 35.80 -- 2D ago buying 35.65-35.80
*** stop was planned for 35.50
Add 35.15 -- no reason to add
Puked 34.29 -- OD low tick!
Only in hindsight did I realize that this was a gap down (YC = 36.7), a minor level and once the OD sliced through ONL 36.00, this was very weak. Totally misread the setup, which would have been fine had I abided by my planned stop. Totally compounded the problem by a hail mary add lower.
Getting my head handed to me is an important learning opportunity. Blowout losses is now my biggest impediment to consistent profitability. I need to train myself to abide by stops at the moment of decision like I've trained myself to refain from jumping into non-A setups.
