Missed the real move here today. Big move.

This was one of my better trades, but overall I'm red on the name today.

Was looking at this from the short side on the open and tried a couple of scalps near the open. Ultimately, I didn't see the long opportunity developing as I wasn't anticipating a big continuation move today.

Should have taken note of a relatively shallow sell-off at the open and no retest of the initial low.

Missed opportunity...

The last couple of weeks looking back, I've been close to a lot of really nice moves that would have brought some good PnL, but I'd miss the ride for one reason or another. Shook out because I'd take on too much size, or reluctant to 'chase' even though there was a lot more upside to play out in hindshight.

Case in point here today.

Working hard to keep the losses in check, and it feels like I'm trading some good names and the meaningful wins will come. Until then, it's keeping losses small, managing risk and size, and being in the trade when it counts. When it's a winner, get on some size and make the most of the opportunity.
