There was an offer that I was catching a larger set of offers that keep stepping down starting above 48. It was heaviest at 48 and then 47.80 and then at 47.50. I catch the stop on the first run at 47 and the stall just under 47. In general,

I did not enter this with a clear cut plan. I was looking to catch an early momentum trade to either 49 or hopefully a test of the PM high. I felt like the momentum I saw on the tape gave this a chance to be moving higher early. I was wrong here. I would manage to play the bounce off the PM low pretty well. This would leave me profitable if I would have cleared everything. I did decided to hold a tier that would end up working against me. I would add on the flush of 48. I should have added at .80 and try hold on adds until something just above or just below .50 which would have left me a little more room as this tested 47. Where I feel the adds where effective. I was running low on patience as this started to work and ended up closing out with less profit than I could have take off the initial bounce of the PM Low. There was a lot of mental capital used here. I find myself in this situation too often. But, these have helped me deal with my patience. I do need to get back to taking paper cuts. But, this approach does help me get sizable for me and condition me to let the larger numbers work through my head on the longer term trades.
