Caught this off of a scan -- looked perfect but decided not to take the trade and "cancelled" the buy order. 25 minutes later, after continuing to scan for a set up I checked back to my holdings to see how the day was going I noticed the shares were there -- order was never canceled. Luckily price had not changed much. I immediately closed out for small (very dumb) loss.
System error. My error for lacking diligence.
