• 08:17 AM EST, 11/24/2020 (MT Newswires) – Dollar Tree (DLTR) reported pre-market Tuesday fiscal Q3 EPS of $1.39, up from $1.08 in the prior-year period. That result surpassed the average estimate of analysts polled by Capital IQ for Q3 EPS of $1.16.
• Sales totaled $6.18 billion for the three months ended Oct. 31, up from $5.75 billion for the prior-year period. That result also exceeded the Street estimate of $6.13 billion for the period. The company’s comparable sales were 5.1% for fiscal Q3.
• Moving forward, the US discount retailer said it refrains from providing updated guidance at this time because of “the continued volatility and uncertainty” related to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as a lack of visibility into government stimulus initiatives.
• The company said it now expects 480 new store openings and 750 Family Hollar H2 store renovations will be completed in fiscal 2020.

I shorted this coming off a late day new HoD. This did not look that strong coming in the bounce under 110. I shorted this as it hovered at the SMA on the tape believing that this would test PM high. I was risking 16 cents on the trade looking for 50. I was stopped out of this and trying to lock in 60 cents knowing that there was a better stop above .75 at the time which should have let me hold this into the test of 108
