I have seen with NIO that is just goes in a direction. to fight it is too much for me (i normally run pretty tight stops) and always run hard stops.
So if it doesn't just reverse when it hit what i though was some resistance above, then i don't want to wait for the next level to find out. NIO when it starts to go it can just keep going all day. if it hovers at a level, it will usually just break it (and did to the upside)

What's the reason behind such tight stop-loss? I find that NIO moves really fast and that you often have to risk more (not to mention it being a super tough stock to trade).
