FOMO trade and to big of a position. I watched the stock whipsaw below the 9 EMA but quickly remount it at 9.25. I was thinking of entering but wasn't quick enough and saw the stock spike up to 9.40. Not wanting to miss the run I entered 1000 shares after it pulled back slightly to 9.35 within the same candle. I knew I was chasing but I convinced myself it would continue upwards. You chase, you die... and I did. I had a mental stop at 9.20 but wasn't disciplined with it at first. Once the stock bounced off the VWAP around 9.15 I sold my shares at 9.20. Lot's of mistakes were made. The first being that if I knew I was chasing I should have at least scaled into the position and if it did decided to pull back I should have watched for it to find support and then look to add. I had way to much risk and because of this I sold it directly on support. After stopping out I should have continued to watch the stock to see if it could in fact remount the EMAs. When it did this would have been a great opportunity to re-enter.
