Intraday short breakdown. This is one of my favorite intraday setups to play but only seems to work well on stocks that are in very extreme ranges (stocks that have blasted off hard or tanked hard early in the morning and have been basing for at least a couple hours. For a short, the 5 min 20sma comes down on top of the price and you short when the price cracks the base, with a stop above the 20sma. In this case it actually worked twice throughout the day so I think the only thing I could have done better was add throughout the day waiting for the end of day flush rather than getting out entirely and then getting back in at the end of the day. Overall closed $78 on this trade with only 200 and 300 share lots, so a very nice return given the size/risk!
