Reason For Entry:

  • Playing the Daily chart, Put Credit Spread. We are taking advantage of the pullback as price action is sitting below its ATH. Our profit levels are ($39, $37 and $35) and we are betting that price action will maintain over these levels by expiration on Friday.

Reason For Exit:

  • At expiration on Friday, price action held well above our profit levels and we collected 100% of the premium.

Recap:

  • This was a weekly spread play as we took advantage of the increased IV (167%) and a pullback below the ATH. Our profit levels were set well below the 8 EMA which had been a strong support area historically. On Friday at expiration price action held well above our profit levels as we collected 100% of the premium at the end of the trading day. This was a nice weekly Put Credit Spread overall. image
