Shorted when price bounced down off 9EMA on 2-min chart, as bear flag was forming; set stop above 9EMA. Shorted a little early; moved stop to above 9EMA on 5-min chart, which looks cleaner. Price moved above 9EMA, so I moved the stop above the 20SMA for no reason! I was nervous to lose that much money, so I decided to hold it longer. CRAP - I do not understand these short buttons apparently, and managed to short some more shares when I thought i was entering a stop. No more shorting for me until I do some reading! Stopped out. Of course. F&#^.
I hate shorting, I always mix up the buttons (even when I do know what they do). I'm going to look up some reverse ETFs I can long when everything is going down so I don't end up in this position again.
