Grade=D (the first entry and exit was courtesy of Baron Von Fatfinger unfortunately. He put in a limit order when he meant to enter a stop)
The setup: Bear flag on daily, parabolic short intraday
The result: I got the start of the move I was looking for but it was a bit jerkier than I was bargaining for and I got stopped out. I was determined to finish the day green, so my tolerance for risk was low at this point. Now I can see that a little more patience and a wider stop could have allowed me to ride the pony express down to 44.00 without too much trouble along the way.
The lesson: I'm getting a small boost from seeing that my thesis worked out and there was a big down move about where I thought there would be. Too bad about the profits not seeing their way to my paper account.
A trade like this, although somewhat disappointing, makes me feel like I'm getting closer to having an edge.
