The setup: short the bounce after the open
The result: I shouldn't have been interested in shorting this stock in the morning. The daily chart showed a doji and it was a good candidate for a daylong bounce. I could have been long-biased based on that and looked for it to reverse upward, which it did. My stop could also have been tighter. I was experimenting with mental stops on this day and I held out a bit longer than my hard stop would have.
