NIO was in play after gapping up the night before. Great first entry, scaled into a trade with a 3:1 RR.
VWAP on TOS is at a different place than the charts below indicate. As soon as this name broke below VWAP I was somewhat quick to sell and I'm proud of myself for that. Feel good about the fills on my entries but I could still be quicker with my exit. Although I wasn't burned on this one, I wasn't quick and surgical with getting out as fast as a pro trader. My exits were about 20-30 seconds too late. I need to be willing and prepared to exit as soon as my thesis is proven wrong.
After a series of VWAP rejections and lower highs all day, this should've been on my watchlist for a VWAP fade or all-day fade trade, shorting the peaks. On a fade trade, SL should be a 1m close above the level, not just an order filled there. I like the idea of learning to fade trade bc stocks fall faster than they rise.
Lesson Learned: Focus on being quick with your exits. To avoid being emotionally attached to a position, tell yourself it'll be a loser before you're even in it (Still only enter good setups, but learn to default to accepting it as a loser.)
