TSLA Trade on Jan 6, 2021 09:42 from spyrosz: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

It didn't meet all my variables for a "Blow-off Top" trade, as previous day outsized green candle on significant volume was not there, but I decided to try a small short vs premarket highs=$764.

Premarket plan was to get "short" at the opening pop to R1=premarket high=$764, risking tight stop 0.5% of price above the level $768s, expecting:
-- brutal/obvious/clean rejection there and hard sell-off lower.
-- add thru VWAP loss and break of opening print
-- Main target was S2=premarket low=$747-748 at a minimum! S1=$754, S3=$718-720.

Opened weak, flushed right into S1=$754, held and bounced higher. I watched tape, saw how it was rejecting $760s, so I decided to offer some vs wick at $762.

After a few tries getting in and out due to wrong stop placement, got short Tier 0, risking wick at $762, added another half tier once it started holding below VWAP, risking stop at $760. Added two momo tiers for the break of S1=$754 and LOD=$751, risking VWAP, expecting the move to S2, consolidation, maybe retest+rejection at S1, then new lows.

Played nice up to here. Covered some at the quick flush to S2, reloaded in-front of S1 and....

got stopped out as the bear trap evolved.

(-) I thought flipping long once it tested and held S1=$754 to the penny + remounted VWAP, realizing that if I was still short I would be cornered feeling the pressure of this beast. Never did and missed +$20/share rally.

Caught my attention in the afternoon when news hit tape due to Washington unrest, shorted the hard bounce back to VWAP + R1=previous support+premarket highs=$764, risking tight stop $766, thinking it just trapped 3.5-hr of buying above.

Covered the flushes to previous support levels, trying to hold some in case news were really really bad and this thing decided to unwind, but no bueno.
At least I made back the morning loss plus some.
