AMTX Trade on Jan 15, 2021 09:03 from apache2a: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

This one was a screw up. There wasn't much happening and I got done with my prep early. I should have just walked away until 7:15...but I didn't. There was 2000 shares available on IB and so I thought, I should just take them for free. So I saved 30 bucks on fees to lose 530 on the trade! Brilliant!

It took up all my attention watching it inch towards my stop premarket...so I lost a lot of focus. Then when it hit my stop I did the old, well, it might go back my way...and I have up a little more money. I got out and let it go.

Then my phone dinged after the open, I forgot to cancel my stop and target so my stop triggered and bought 1670 shares I didn't want. I did the right thing and got out immediately without even looking at it...and for once it went my way. I think I gained 270 bucks back in the 10 seconds it took me to enter the trade (you can see the trade on the other entry)...crazy. I almost never actually gain from mistakes, this one was the 1 in 10 that actually works out for me. I'll take it.
