Idea, Entry, and Risk:

*Idea: $2 breakout an continuation into further breakouts given market sentiment and gaming/gambling sector.
*Entry: Dips vs 1.70s/60s. ("starter 1.80)
*Risk: 1:5R+ (vs. 1.50)

Catalyst and News:

Recent sale of the World Poker Tour, purchase of ESports arenas, insider buys, and insider buys over last month.

Fundamentals:

Poor, but apparently the filings suggest otherwise. Need to look into those deeper.

Technicals:

Large swipes over several days, higher lows, consistent approach to 2$ ceiling. Strong buyer. Sells being soaked up.

Summation:

Small position taken on dip after push and fail into 1.90s. Despite the constant fails, it hasn't hit any newer lows and it has consistently resumed its upward momentum. Holding into the 2.50 break and see where it goes from there. Will size up on dips.

Day 3: Didn't add size like I should have, too entranced by the absurdity of GME. Price action never went against me enough to take off, flew EOD and in the morning today, finally starting to move. First resistance target of 2.50 hit A/H, considering taking some off if it doesn't hold tomorrow, will see in the AM.

EXIT - DAY 5: Stopped out by broker side max loss coinciding with $GME dump, all positions liquidated.
Saw this hit my PT P/M but I am not one versed in doing so. Should have hit a limit and had the exit there, but to no avail.

Takeaways:

Price action and tape doesn't lie. Even with relatively large offers at resistance (3-5K) it's still pushing up. Let it work.

Up but better lessons to be learned. Don't hold forever, don't end up with the bags.

SET YOUR LIMITS. There's zero reason to run without them.
