When a poorly executed hedge becomes a loss. Stupid mistakes.
Luckily, this Vax play has legs, low float and heavy short position. I was able to make some back today, selling 3k for a small profit and holding my last 2k for the pop.
Rode the pop up but AH/PM movements killed my order execution. Missed out on 9k. Got emotional and walked away when I should have shorted on the way down. By the time I regained composure, I was only able to make back $200.
Pitiful waste of an opportunity.
