Idea, Entry, and Risk:

*Idea: Tiny chase entry. Been watching this go and consolidate the last several days. Peak on daily is in the 40s. Thinking it could go way back, resistance points at the 23s then 50s.
*Entry: 16.80s starter (A/H), will accumulate dips.

Positive trial data, and Nasdaq listing two weeks ago, but no real found catalyst for the rips.

Technicals:

Chart firmed into the 9s breakout, going up and consolidating and holding ever since.

Summation:

Entered on firming up and A/H pushes. Thinking there's still plenty of momementum in this. Tried to get better entries over the last two days, missed chances. Took a plunge today with stops.

Update: Closed out at -1.5R. Shut down hard at the market open, writing should have been apparent as it was on the wall. Three straight days of hardly consolidated growth. Definitely should have waited for hands to shake out and for a pullback.

P/M had the volume dead, and the immediate morning fade with no gap up should have been an alert (wasn't as obvious to me as DTEA but it was there). Cut it as it was falling and didn't want to bother with the rest. Still holding on paper side, much better average. Could have used the $12.50s bounce with the SSR trigger as a reentry, but decided against it. Major resistance at the 16.40s was obvious on the daily, didn't consider it. Live and learn.

Takeaways:

Don't trade A/H if you're not willing to accept the risks. If you can't place your stops then, then don't trade there. Plain and simple.

Always check your multiple timeframes. Don't be dumb and just buy because you think it's been going.

Absolutely do not chase, (unless there's a catalyst and a pullback), and know how to discern the difference on your timeframe for a trade.
