Bought 3 contracts here (1 at a time)
• Monthly VWAP was moving closely to 0.5sd, which is where it has tested previously
• Weekly VWAP had gone below VWAP
• Daily VWAP in a fast (2sd+ imbalance trend)
• Daily VWAP tested to -1.25sd and continued imbalance down
• OF was around 15K
• OF was subsequently flat, but price moved down; suggestion of it going down further
• Marked VPOCs for Previous PVAs (last 2days) -could see that this was being tested
• Waited for market to retest -1.25sd to enter short; initially with one entry - delta and price didn't budge, so added 2 additional contracts in the same area
• SL set above VAL of PVA
• TP1 - in line with previous low
• TP2 - in line with previous low / and approaching monthly 0.5d
• TP3 - in line with volume profile hump on monthly profile
Grade A - Felt like a good read, but felt there was a lot of luck in this trade.
