This trade almost gave me a heart attack. TOS was on the fritz this morning but I didn't know it. Once the market opened, I placed an order. Oddly, it did nothing. So I cancelled it and placed another .... nothing. Cancelled it. Oh well, I missed the move. Then a couple minutes later, they both processed and I was immediately $700 in the hole. WHAT!!!?? I was pissed. But now what. I waited, averaged down and hoped. I was going to average down to $3 if needed and stop at @ $2.90 or so but luckily, I didn't have to. It came back up and made my target $.10 profit. Not the morning I was planning.

metp2202, Just the pre-market action and the pullback right before the open. It looked like it was a good buildup and thought it would climb after the market opened. I was right. I would have made a quick $.10 gain ($100) if my trading platform wouldn't have been lagging. But instead, it bought but didn't tell me. Before I knew it, it had already popped $.25 and dropped $.80. Leaving me with a problem. Luckily, it came back up. I was about to try to reverse my position when it jumped back up (glad I waited).

ToS f****d me real good this morning too with the lag issues. Lucky I didn't loose my shirt!
