I liked it in-front of S1=20SMA@weekly=$645-647 area. Below that level, nothing but air until S2=$600.
Saw the quick flush below S1 and $640, thought it was done esp. after yesterday's sell-off, so
got long Tier 0 trying to risk 1% lower $634s, but I didn't have time to even put hard stop in. Next minute this thing went below $630 and I froze.
Sh@t my pants plain and simple, and decided to hold up to next bounce attempt, hoping it won't be at S2=$600. Bag-holded for another $10 to $620, and the moment it bounced:
-- put hard-stop at LOD=$620
-- sold 50% at VWAP
-- another 40% closer to R1=$695.
Ended up swinging rest 10%.
There is a time and place for "anticipation". Let this be a lesson.
a) When volatility is low --> anticipation entries (bidding in-front of support, offering in-front of resistance) work fine.
b) When volatility is high --> anticipation entries can cause huge pain. This is the time to switch to reactionary entries (wait for buyers/sellers to show up and get an entry vs LOD/HOD).
