Grade=C-
The setup: Pullback after the open.
Catalyst: None, except that it's in the China sector which was trending up.
The result: I took half off after the first bump up and then a few minutes later saw a lot of selling on the tape which spooked me (appropriately) into selling the rest and locking in my gain even though I didn't get the greater move up from the pullback which did come much later after touching 10.25 a couple of times and then consolidating at 21.40. I was using the 9ema on the 5m as additional support for my entry.
The lesson: This kind of move happens a lot where the pullback just isn't clean for quite a while. At least by getting a low entry while also not jumping in too soon can pad things a bit and prevent a loss.
