Trade Idea:
I wanted to anticipate the break of the ABCD pivot as we ascended through descending support. Therefore I took the first 1min to make a new high above $2.34 and took a buy at $2.36. I added as we ramped up towards the pivot level of $2.39 and was filled at that price. My total position size allowed for a $0.11 SL from the average cost.

Risk/Reward:
- Reward: I wanted to see it break HOD at 2.47 and quickly thereafter see $2.5
- Risk: SL below $2.34 as it was a key level that was broken and should have held upon retest. It was a previous micro-double top.

Position Size:
- With an average cost of $2.38 and a SL of only $0.04 I did not take enough shares given how tight my entry was to my SL level. With that being said the ticker was not the most obvious or strong given the day's context so sizing down a bit was not a bad idea. My size was still too small.

Trade Management:
After I added at $2.39 the ticker ranged and straddled from $2.4 to $2.37 which I did not like. Therefore as it broke through $2.4 and made a high at $2.45 I wanted to sell a quarter at $2.44 which was the price at the bid during this thought. As I hit my hotkey the ticker flashed down three cents and I got filled at $2.41. Either way this was a completely premature sell. I should have let the stock prove that it was failing below its intracandle low before cutting my entire position break even. I need to hold my position for the bulk moves which would have been a break above $2.47. The stock retested and hovered at $2.45 for a relatively long time. After it first tested $2.47 it didn't immediately show that it was strong and broke down to $2.44. I again impatiently put an additional 1/4 of my position on the ask and sold at $2.45. $2.47 broke and we saw $2.50which was tested twice before breaking. I poorly put an ask fill for half of my remaining position at $2.51 as the ticker touched $2.56 right after my fill. From there, I watied for the stock to prove that it would hold $2.5. It did not and I cut the rest of my position at $2.47 which was a smart final exit.

Final Thoughts and What I Learned:
After leaving a lot of money on the table in terms of not holding my entire position for the bulk of the move I learned that I need to exercise more patience and trust the tape. I was identifying key levels and knew I had plenty of room before my breakeven and SL levels were touched but I instead took fractions of my position off before the main target. The position itself was already small so selling early cost me.
