The setup: short the top pivot
The result: rode it up for a few minutes, then got out when I got spooked by the spike to the downside.
Entry: Got in on the smaller spike at 27.00 thinking that it would have a hard time getting through 27.00 and staying there after already being up so much.
The lesson: My risk was set just above 27.00 and there was certainly plenty of potential downside for the short. Perhaps not the highest probabilty trade out there, and that left me easily spooked out of what could have been a much larger gain.
