Grade=D
The setup: short the pop
The result: I got a little of it.
Entry: A bit early in hindsight, but it looked like 4.25 would be the resistance.
Exit: I dislike it, but I was probably not confident it would drop and thought it wouldn't stray too far from 4.25 and just discover its price. However, if that's what I thought, then this wouldn't have been such a great trading opportunity. It turns out there was a nice move downward and really I should have been in this one. I could have held on until support at 40.00 and judged the behaviour at that point.
The lesson: Set better targets that are more than a scalp. Usually I do, sometimes to my detriment.
The lesson: This is T-mobile, a stock that Kunal might call a "grandpa stock". It popped up on news, but the action had died down considerably by the time I got in. The stock wasn't really "in play" at this point, so I would prefer some more signs of weakness before repeating this kind of trade. Not much range in this area.
