F has been strong recently and just pulled back today amid market weakness. Buyers were strong near the close at the 12.50 level so I entered there with a 3:1 RR. My thesis is that Ford will continue it's strength when market weakness eases up.

Ford drifted lower then consolidated for a few days. I got out because the contracts were close to expiring and my SL was hit. Went up from $12 to $13 the next two days. The trade idea was there, just poor execution. Could've got out earlier when my stop was hit but my discipline has been horrible ever since I entered this IEP position. Really threw me out of my groove. To get back on track, I need to follow my stop loss rules and stack a few small wins to gain confidence.

Lesson Learned: Buy further dated contracts. You don't want to need to sell your position just because the expiration date is coming up. It's worth paying more to avoid theta decay.
