Idea, Entry, and Risk:

*Idea: Continued fades with general market sentiment, weakness after midday squeeze.
*Entry: 48.40 starter, pops under VWAP
*Risk: vs HOD, 1:2 (Stop at ~50, PT at under 46)

Catalyst and News:

n/a, Bitcoin showing some strength today and went with the RIOT push, but nothing else notable.

Fundamentals:

n/a

Technicals:

Morning FFT that played out beautifully. Pushed through VWAP and eventually fell under yesterday's A/H support. Bounced off the 46.40s twice and pushed back to 50 but tape said no dice. Still falling on the daily. Great setup.

Summation:

Took small after the first big set of fails on the midday rally to 50. Watched it mostly hold under VWAP, kept trying to muster the conviction to scale in and adjust R/R appropriately. Watched it push a few times but ultimately just fell.

Tape kept saying it was going, let it ride while intermittently checking tape among other market fails. Thought it could break down farther past 46 once it hit LOD, but the squeeze back a dollar was too strong and ultimately took the exit once it continued upwards past the 47 mark.

Takeaways:

Still working on scaling up. Kept telling myself to add on the pops into the breakdown, especially with the retest and fails at r/g. Will treat this the same way I now treat exits. Trading is an educated guess. And as a game of probabilities, it's okay to be wrong and make mistakes. If the entry could go either way but is determined to be probable in your favor, what's there to fear about scaling up? You only need adjust your risk. Will steadily increase share size and entry scaling going forward.
