P/M gap up and slight push to previous key levels (54.40s), morning test and big fail back under VWAP.
Small size in after the first VWAP fail. Watched it drop and come back and test again, fail again after staying heavy, increased size on this conviction. Originally set PT at level 47.50, but saw the difficulty it had once it dropped to that level and took of 75%, held the rest between range of 48.50 and 46.50 in case it really got going after hitting G/R.
It pushed back to a previous level and got the rest out. Decent trade overall. Little reason to overthink or be emotional.
Got nerved out when it wasn't quite touching my PT. Took most of the size off just to lock in the gains, but in all reality, the trade was still working, and simply setting the range for the remainder, while the right thing to do, didn't need to be that stressful. Just let it work.
When you've locked some in, the risk is essentially gone. Just be patient.
