Setup: Price came down to an area of interest which also converged with the ON VPOC after an impulse lower. Took one off quickly for a few points as I want to reduce risk. Scaled in at a lower low hoping to trap shorts.
Postmortem: Missed my opportunity to scale at 46.50 which would have made this trade profitable. This was a mismanaged trade. I didn’t react in time and missed my opportunity to just get out with something. Second entry was a mistake seeing that there was another area of interest just a few points below.
Emotional experiences: If you see another area of interest just a few points below take your profits quickly and leave maybe one runner on a 6 lot and maybe 2 runners on a 9 lot
