Got in too early. Took a loss greater than I wanted since I wasn't able to cut quickly. Got in on the turn and took my singles. made back the loss and some.

Good you made it back and then some. I find that these midday panics can be quite choppy on the way down until they bounce. I had the exact same problem on this one with not being able to cut and also using too much size too early in the panic. Ended up making most of it back when it finally bounced but for a minute there it wiped out all my profits on the day..

Another problem with these is that lots of times when you cut as it's cracking and then ends up rebounding, you might not be able to get filled into strength. So a lot of times for me I'm not able to cut my whole position when the bounce fails because I wait too long and when I cut it quick enough but it ends up not cracking I won't be able to get filled again for the bounce... Gonna try a speedtrader account to maybe get some better fills.
