KEY LEVEL: 242, HOD(242.75)
Did I follow my stop loss rules? Yes. Stop was at 242, but I entered at about 242.70. Risking like what, 70 cents? I just wanted a quick momentum break, which I didn't get.
Entry(Notes): Wanted to follow momentum. Entered first tier. The stock pulled back on me a bit, and I made a mistake of averaging down. Never. Average. Down. Stock went against me, and I got stopped out for 2x the size.
The put went in my favor, but I wanted a bigger move, so I didn't take the quick scalp.
Exit(Notes): Gave the calls a few minutes before exiting, and hoped for the bids to re-step up to 242. Never happened. The puts I just got out as the downtrend clearly broke.
